Christmas is a wonderfully busy time of year, and with our small kitchen, we’ve made the decision not to offer a separate Christmas party menu throughout December this year.
Instead, we’ll be keeping things a little simpler and concentrating on what we do best — serving our usual menu, good food and a warm welcome. This allows our kitchen team to maintain the standards we’re proud of, while giving our customers the relaxed and friendly experience we want The Nog Inn to be known for.
For larger group bookings, we may ask for a deposit to secure your table. As a small independent pub, late cancellations and no-shows can have a real impact on our business, so we hope you’ll understand why this may sometimes be necessary.

And after many years, we’re delighted to be opening our doors for drinks on Christmas Day once again!
Join us between 12pm and 2pm for a festive drink, a little Christmas cheer and, hopefully, a chance to catch up with friends before heading home for the rest of the celebrations.

Fancy a little sneak peek at what’s on the menu this December?
This menu will form the basis of what we’ll be serving throughout the festive season, alongside a selection of seasonal specials created by Will & Jake, using the best ingredients we can get our hands on. We’ll keep things homemade, hearty and full of flavour — just as you’d expect from The Nog Inn — with a few festive touches along the way.
