This planning application lark has been a learning curve….. We now have a new architect on board and a consultant who specialises in dealing with listed building applications.
So whilst we’re not back to Step 1, it does feel rather like 1 step forward, 2 steps back sometimes!
Amongst other things, we’re currently waiting to hear when we can get a bat survey done (I hadn’t realised they can only be carried out at certain times of the year).
However, Will & I are using our time wisely. We basically need to empty the function room completely. So that’s 12 years of our “stuff” PLUS all the things we inherited when we moved in! So yesterday we spent a good few hours in there moving glasses out of the loft and to the ground floor of the function room, a trip to the tip and chopping up lots of wood for kindling. I think this is going to take us a while…..
