beef cheeksWe’re currently looking for a Head Chef to join our team and lead the kitchen brigade.  You’ll be working alongside Will (proprietor), Rachel (second chef) and Tom (kitchen assistant).

We are looking for a motivated and ambitious head chef to join our team and run our kitchen.

This is a wonderful opportunity for someone moving up the ranks to spread their wings and show the world what they have!

We are looking to showcase great British pub food, made from scratch. We want to be on the map for serving the best British and seasonal food in the whole of Somerset and beyond!

Our range of dishes takes us from the classic pub ham, egg & chips all the way through to Lobster Thermidor on our Specials Board – so please feel free to bring your creativity to the table!

We are looking someone who is committed, reliable and honest with an eagerness to learn and produce amazing British pub grub. We are not looking for a quick fix, so we are also keen to find someone who can prove longevity with previous employers.

We are offering 2 full days off per week, no split shifts, 28 days holiday per year. Salary in the region of £25K + dependent upon experience.

This position is live out.

Changes to our hours over Easter

We will be open on Good Friday this year from midday-11pm.  We will be serving food 12-2.30pm & 5-8.30pm. 

Saturday we will be open 12–11pm with food being served 12-2.30pm & 5-8.30pm.

Easter Sunday we will be open 12-9.30pm and serving our delicious roast 12-3pm.

WE WILL BE CLOSED on Easter Monday in order to give our team a well deserved day off!
