A huge congratulations must go to The Old Farts who have won the 2012 quiz league – well done to Dee, Andy, Rebecca, Gareth & Tracy.  You did a superb job!

So here’s the deal – the quiz is held on the last Thursday of every month, starting promptly at 7.30pm.  It costs £1.50 per player, with a maximum of 5 per team.  The first prize is £50 off your bar tab for the evening (no cash alternative I’m afraid) and you nominate which charity you would like the entry monies to go to.  The second prize is a £20 meal voucher to use here at The Nog Inn.   It does get busy so we would recommend booking a table.

If there is a cause you would raise money for, then we welcome teams to organise a raffle during the quiz.  Please give Will a call on 01963 32998 to discuss and pencil your date in!

During 2012 we have raised an amazing £1948 for local and national charities through the quiz, and since we started the quiz back in 2008 a staggering £9,000 has been raised.  This is due to the generosity of our lovely quiz teams.  A big thank you to all who have dug deep into their pockets for such good causes over the years.
