Today, the same things are important to us as the day we arrived here in Wincanton back in 2007 – great quality, freshly prepared food, your favourite drinks and friendly service in a relaxing traditional English pub with a warm and welcoming atmosphere.

Everything on our menu is homemade unless otherwise indicated, and wherever possible we try to use locally sourced & seasonal ingredients.

Food is served from midday through to 9pm (10pm on Friday & Saturday) every day of the week.

Allergen Information

The Food Standards Agency (FSA) in conjunction with DEFRA are introducing new allergen labelling laws which will come into effect from 13th December 2014 these are called the Food Information Regulations EU1169/2011 (FIR Regs). We, alongside every other food business, are required to provide information on any allergens in the dishes we serve. There are 14 major allergens which need to be declared when used as ingredients.
