Welcome to The Nog Inn, a small family run pub in the pretty market town of Wincanton. We like to keep it as simple and relaxed as possible here, and instead of sports television, amusement machines and formula food, we offer an open log fire, old fashioned board games and real home cooked food at honest prices. We also boast a beautiful beer garden to enjoy during the summer months and a heated smoking shelter for those wishing to take advantage of it.
We pride ourselves on the welcome we give to all our customers. Whether you are one of our locals, here on holiday, out for a walk with the family (and dog) or just looking for some where to relax and grab a bite to eat and a drink you can be sure of a cheery smile and a warm welcome here.
Wincanton is a market town located in South Somerset on the borders of Dorset and Wiltshire. Whilst it no longer enjoys a weekly market there is a thriving Farmers’ Market on the first Friday of every month. Wincanton also enjoys excellent road links and is situated on the main A303 London to Penzance trunk road, making it a handy stop off point for weary & hungry travellers.
If you would like to find out a little bit more about Wincanton, we highly recommend you take a look at www.wincantonwindow.co.uk , a local web magazine which is full of interesting information and articles about our town and its residents.
